The ELECTION COMMITTEE shall receive nominations for placement on the ballot to select nominees to be submitted to the Mayor for appointment pursuant to Charter 3109.08, Columbus City Code, and the Selection Procedure. Candidates for selection shall not be members of the Election Committee or polling staffs in the year in which their names appear on the ballot.
