The PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE shall review existing area plans and recommend guidelines for comprehensive short and long range planning of the Commission area, including the social, economic, and physical aspects; monitor federal, state and local funding programs that affect the Commission area; and develop means for citizen participation in planning which affects the Commission area.
